1. Please download the latest of Opera web browser .deb package here.


2. Start installation of opera web browser on ubuntu. Tested on Ubuntu 9.04.
   
$ sudo dpkg -i opera_10.00.4585.gcc4.qt3_i386.deb



3. Start installation of Flash
   Make sure your pc connects on internet or Ubuntu repository.
   
$ sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree



4. Repairing problem of flash video if you get.
   
   
   
   • Open Opera
   
   
   • Click on Tools > Preferences >go To The advanced tab
   
   
   • Click on Downloads on the left side
   
   
   • find application/x-shockwave-flash
   
   
   • Click Edit at the bottom it says Use Plugin from the pull down menu
   
   
   • select ‘Shockwave Flash – /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/flashplugin-alternative.
   
   
   • Click OK and exit
   
   


5. Install Java plugins to make your opera to be more powerful
   
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-fonts sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin ubuntu-restricted-extras
