Linux Ubuntu 8.10 intrepid ibex has repository that can make us to be cozy when used it. The repository can download via internet or you can buy DVD repository via distrowatch. If you don't want to be busy buying DVD repository and have internet connection at home, You are able to use internet repository. I will share knowledge about how to use internet repository. Let's do it:

We will edit file sources.list, please open the terminal:

$ sudo pico /etc/apt/sources.list


You must copy bellow script and insert this script in bottom page:


deb http://komo.vlsm.org/ubuntu intrepid main restricted universe multiverse

deb http://komo.vlsm.org/ubuntu intrepid-updates main restricted universe multiverse

deb http://komo.vlsm.org/ubuntu intrepid-security main restricted universe multiverse

deb http://komo.vlsm.org/ubuntu intrepid-backports main restricted universe multiverse

deb http://komo.vlsm.org/ubuntu intrepid-proposed main restricted universe multiverse


After finished pasting the scripts, please save your work uses Ctrl+x

Update the configuration:

$ sudo apt-get update
